Program name and who sends the messages

LotusBookings Booking Alerts. Text messages are sent by LotusBookings LLC (Virginia, USA), the company that operates the LotusBookings booking platform at lotusbookings.com and app.lotusbookings.com. Every message starts with "LotusBookings:".

What you will receive

• Clients: booking confirmations, reminders and changes, and arrival updates for in-home massage (for example, when your therapist is on the way).
• Verification codes: a one-time code when you ask to confirm your phone number to book.
• Therapists who work through LotusBookings and turn on SMS alerts: new jobs available near them and changes to their appointments.

These are service messages only. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

Opting in is always optional and separate: it is never required to book, to pay or to use LotusBookings. The checkbox and the switch are unchecked and off by default.

1. Clients — when booking in the app

On the booking summary screen, below the Terms and Privacy links, there is a separate checkbox with this exact text:

I agree to receive text messages from LotusBookings about my bookings — confirmations, reminders, changes and therapist arrival updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. SMS Terms

2. Therapists — in Settings

Therapists see a switch labeled "SMS alerts (paid)", off by default, with this exact text:

By turning this on you agree to receive text messages from LotusBookings about new jobs available near you, new and changed appointments, and notices about your account, on top of the app. Message frequency varies. 3. Verification codes

When a guest books an in-home massage, they type their mobile number and press "Send code". Only that one message is sent: "LotusBookings: tu código de verificación es 123456. Caduca en 10 minutos." (your verification code, valid for 10 minutes).

What it looks like in the app

These screens are behind the sign-in, so this is a faithful copy of what the person sees (same wording, same order, unchecked by default).

Confirmation after you opt in

Clients receive:

LotusBookings: You are now subscribed to LotusBookings booking alerts (confirmations, reminders and arrival updates). Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Therapists receive:

LotusBookings: You are now subscribed to LotusBookings job alerts (new jobs near you and appointment changes). Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL) to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one last message confirming it:

LotusBookings: You have been unsubscribed and will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms.
