LotusBookings is a service of LotusBookings LLC, a limited liability company registered in Virginia, USA. LotusBookings LLC is responsible for your data. Contact: [email protected].
What you give us: your name, email, phone number, the address where you want the service and access notes (gate code, parking). In the health form: date of birth, medical conditions, allergies, medication, pregnancy, areas of pain and an emergency contact.
What is created when you use the app: your bookings, payments, chat messages with your therapist, ratings and notifications. If you allow it, your approximate location to find therapists near you.
What we do NOT have: your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe; we only keep the card brand and last four digits so you can recognize it.
To provide the service: find a therapist, charge you, notify you about your appointment and solve any problem. Health data is used only so the therapist can treat you safely.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
Your exact address and phone number are seen only by the therapist assigned to that visit, and only from when they leave for your home until the service ends. Before someone accepts, therapists only see the approximate area (city and ZIP code) and the distance.
Your health form is seen by the assigned therapist, to treat you safely, and by the LotusBookings team when an issue needs to be solved.
Service providers: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (hosting and database), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages) and Cloudflare (network security and protection against bots). Each one only processes what it needs for its part.
Protection against bots: to keep automated programs out, some actions (booking or paying without an account, asking for a verification code, sending us a form) run an automatic check by Cloudflare Turnstile. It looks at your IP address and technical details of your browser, and sometimes asks you to tick a box. That information is used only to detect and block bots, not to identify you or build a profile of you. More detail in Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice.
Text messages are optional and separate: you only get them if you check that box when booking (therapists: if they turn on SMS alerts). It is not a condition of purchase. We send service messages only (confirmations, reminders, changes, arrival updates and verification codes you request), never promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We keep the exact text you were shown and the date you accepted it. See the SMS Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
While you have an account, and afterwards for as long as accounting and health-record obligations require. You can ask us to delete your account from Settings: it is marked for deletion and removed after 30 days, during which you can change your mind.
You can view, correct, export or delete your data from the app (Settings → your record) or by writing to [email protected]. If you are a California resident, the CCPA also gives you the right to know which categories of data we hold and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights; we do not sell personal information.
The service is only for people 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
If we change something important, we will tell you inside the app before it applies.

Lo que NO tenemos: el número completo de tu tarjeta. Los pagos los procesa Stripe; nosotros solo guardamos la marca y los cuatro últimos dígitos para que reconozcas cuál usaste.
Para prestarte el servicio: encontrar un terapeuta, cobrarte, avisarte de tu cita y resolver cualquier problema. Los datos de salud se usan únicamente para que el terapeuta sepa cómo tratarte con seguridad.
No vendemos tus datos. No los usamos para publicidad de terceros.
Tu dirección exacta y tu teléfono los ve solo el terapeuta asignado a esa visita, y solo desde que sale hacia tu casa hasta que el servicio termina. Antes de que alguien acepte, los terapeutas ven únicamente la zona aproximada (ciudad y código postal) y la distancia.
Tu formulario de salud lo ve el terapeuta asignado, para tratarte con seguridad, y el equipo de LotusBookings cuando hace falta resolver una incidencia.
Proveedores: Stripe (pagos), Google Firebase (alojamiento y base de datos), Resend (correo), Twilio (mensajes de texto) y Cloudflare (seguridad de la red y protección contra robots). Cada uno trata solo lo que necesita para su parte.
Protección contra robots: para que no entren programas automáticos, algunas acciones (reservar o pagar sin cuenta, pedir un código de verificación, enviarnos un formulario) pasan una comprobación automática de Cloudflare Turnstile. Mira tu dirección IP y datos técnicos de tu navegador, y a veces te pide marcar una casilla. Esa información se usa solo para detectar y bloquear robots, no para identificarte ni para hacer un perfil tuyo. Más detalle en el aviso de privacidad de Turnstile de Cloudflare.
Mientras tengas cuenta, y después el tiempo que exijan las obligaciones contables y sanitarias. Puedes pedir que borremos tu cuenta desde Ajustes: se marca para borrado y se elimina a los 30 días, tiempo durante el cual puedes arrepentirte.
Puedes ver, corregir, exportar o borrar tus datos. Lo haces desde la app (Ajustes → tu expediente) o escribiéndonos desde Ajustes → Soporte. Si eres residente de California, la CCPA te da además derecho a saber qué categorías de datos tenemos y a no ser discriminado por ejercer tus derechos; no vendemos datos personales.
Los SMS son voluntarios y aparte: solo si marcas esa casilla al reservar. No es condición para comprar. Respondes STOP y dejas de recibirlos; HELP para ayuda. Pueden aplicarse las tarifas de tu operador. Guardamos el texto exacto que se te enseñó y la fecha, que es lo que se le enseña al operador si lo pide.
No compartimos tu número de móvil ni tu consentimiento para SMS con terceros ni con empresas afiliadas para su marketing o publicidad. Los datos de consentimiento de SMS no se venden ni se ceden a nadie. Condiciones completas de los SMS: SMS Terms.
